Manaslu circuit trek offers a spectacular blend of nature and stunning views of mountain ranges. “The Manaslu Circuit” is not just a journey reaching the abode of a formidable golden pinnancle of Manaslu peaks but a journey that takes you to a hidden world of ethnic Nepali population inhabiting the valleys,their culture and traditions.
The Manaslu trek exists at 40 miles away from Kathmandu to east Annapurna region. It is the 8th highest mountain on the Earth at 8,163metres(26,781ft). Close by the Mt.Manaslu (8,163m) there lies other magnificient Himalayas like Serang(7,187m),Ganesh Himal (7,181m).
The area covers six climates zones; the tropical and sub-tropical zone varies in elevation with different altitudes. Elevation varies starts from 1000-2000 meters, the temperature zone(2000-3000 meters), the sub-alpine zone (3000-4000 meters), the alpine zone(4000-5000 meters) meadows and the arctic zone of ranges lying above 4,500 meters.
Manaslu region is highly habitat with various flora and Fauna including endangered animals such as snow leopard and Red Pandas. . The region has a different way of living followed by various different cultures and traditions which are followed by the local and are preserved from western influences.
The Manaslu Circuit trek begins from Arughat of Gorkha district. The final destination of the trek is Besisahar. The total distance cover during the trek is 177 km. The highest point of trek tends to be Larkya La Pass-one of the dramatic pass in the Himalayas of Nepal. Larke Pass is at the maximum altitude of 5,106 meters where trekkers get jaw-dropping views of the Mount Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and other mountain ranges. The typical round Manaslu Circuit trek takes around 17 days, the approximate travelling distance covered each day will be about 15-20 km March-May and septemper-November are considered to be the best time to be enjoyed fully in this trek in terms of weather and temperature.       Itinerary

      Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

      After your arrival at Kathmandu International airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your respective hotels where you will be given time to freshen up. The same day you will be given a brief schedule about our trekking. Overnight in Kathmandu.

      Day 2Kathmandu -Arughat (550 m/ 1804 ft) 7 hrs drive to Soti khola (597 m/1958 ft)1:30 hour

      Early Morning,Today we heading to Arughat by bus Via Dhading Bensi on the Prithvi Highway and take the local bus or jeep there after. Although the road will be quite dusty and bumpy, you will enjoy scenery landscape along with the Mountain view from your window seat. In route, you can stop at many rest stops for short break and meals. Upon reaching Arughat, we drive further towards Sotikhola. Overnight at one of the teahouse in Soti Khola. Overnight In Soti Khola.

      Day 3Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola ( 900m. /2952 ft). 6 to 7 hrs.

      Today, you will start from soti khola to Machha Khola. The trail is steeply uphill and you will pass through several settlements like Armala,Lapubesi and Khanibesi along Budi Ganadaki River. On the trail you can explore the Gurung village of Lapubesi and khanibesi. This day trek make naturally captivating because of rich flora and fauna, blue river, mountain ridges, and unique landscapes.Overnight stay in the local teahouse of Machha Khola.

      Day 4Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat( 1410m/ 4625 ft). 6-7 hrs.

      After breakfast, we strat our trekthe towards Jagat passing by the Gurung village like khorla Besi, Tatopani,Dobhan, and Yuru Khola along the Budi Gandaki Valley. The trek between Machha Khola to Jagat is an adventure walk on rugged terrains with the jaw dropping views of snow-capped mountains. As you move towards the high altitude, you’ll witness the change in the landscape.Overnight stay in the local teahouse of Jagat.

      Day 5Trek from Jagat to Dyang( 1,804m/5917 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

      After breakfast, We leaving behind the beautiful village Jagat, you will head forwards to Dyang. This place is the great to get the eye catching view of the snow-capped mountains. Through various landscapes and dense sub-tropical forests of oak, pine, and birch , as well as small rivers and rustic villages you will get your final destination. The trek begin by climbing over a rocky ridge to Salleri, and then descend to Sirdibas and continues to the Ghatta Khola river. To cross Budhi Gandaki and other small rivers, You’ll continue walking upstream to a long suspension bridge in Philim, a large Gurung village. Before you reached Dyang, you’ll come across several villages: Philim, Salieri , Ekla Bhatti, Nyak, Paimo, and Sirdibas which are highly dominated by the Buddhist religion. The trail widens through the valley and you’ll pass through bamboo forests to the Dyang Khola river. Upon crossing, you’ll reach the tiny village of Dyang. With a great mountain view, you’ll also explore the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of the different Himalayan people .Overnight stay at the local tea house of Dyang.

      Day 6Trek from Dyang to Namrung (2,630m/8,626 feet) 6-7hrs.

      After having breakfast in Dyang, you will start one of the most significant part of the trek where you will find a strong influence of Tibetan culture. The trek begins by crossing the Budhi Gandhaki river where you climb up a bit and join a trail and head towards west of the valley passing through alpine vegetation and village houses of the indigenous group of people .The house and terrains are more like Tibetan houses .The culture and lifestyle of people are influenced by Tibetan Buddhist culture.The walk continuous steeper and opens up to the beautiful majestic Kutang Himal range on the north and other peaks of over 6,000 m. Overnight stay at the local teahouse of Namrung .

      Day 7Trek from Namrung to Lohegaon ( 3,530 m./11,578 feet) 6-7 hrs.

      Today, after breakfast, you will continue your trek towards Lohegaon which is overshadowed by a large Gumba. You can get a spectacular view of Mt. Manasalu (8,156 m. ) from the top of the hill. You will get a very beautiful and stunning views of Mt.Manasalu during the sunrise. Overnight stay at the local teahouse of Lohegaon.

      Day 8Trek from Lohegaon to Samagaon( 3530 m./11,578 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

      Today, after breakfast from Lohegaon walking through very dramatic landscapes the trail will lead you to Samagaon. The trail from Lohegaon to Samagaon offers a stunning view of Mt. Manasalu(8,156 m.) and other neighboring peak. Along the way you will witness several Buddhist monasteries. Overnight stay at local teahouse at Samagaon.

      Day 9Trek from Samagaon to Samdo ( 3,875 m/12,713 ft). 6-7 hrs.

      After breakfast in Samagaon, you will slowly walk towards Samdo village. Samdo is not far as it lies in the altitude it makes your walking a little slow. The local here are mainly engaged in farming and agriculture. We cross long Mani walls before entering the village of Samdo, which is situated on the foot of Mt. Samdo (6335m). Overnight stay in a local teahouse at Samdo.

      Day 10Trek from Samdo to Larkya la Phedi (Dharmasala) ( 4,460 m./14,633 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

      Larkya la phedi is also known as Dharamsala. After breakfast in Samdo you will begin to walk on the wild mountain trail crossing Gayla Khola witnessing Larkya Glacier and reach Larkya Bazzar. Along the route you will see manu Buddhist monasteries.You can explore Larkya Bazzar which is a seasonal Tibetan market.Overnight stay at a local teahouse in Dharamsala.

      Day 11Trek from Larkya La Pass and Glacier (5160 m/16,924 ft.) to Bhimtang. ( 3720 m/12,201 ft.) 6-7 hrs.

      Today, you will reach Bhimthang via Larkya La pass Larkya Glacier. Though it is a challenging trail you will get to encounter clear glacier lakes, beautiful villages and some glittering peaks. After short climb on the north side of the Larkya Glacier you could enjoy the great views of Cho Danda and Larkya Peaks9 6,249 m). After a shortb walk via Larkya la pass you will reach Bhimthang. Overnight stay at local teahouse at Bhimthang.

      Day 12Trek from Bhimthang to Tilche (2300 m/7544 ft.) 6-7 hrs

      This part of the trek will be your final part of the Manasalu Circuit Trek. The beautiful downhill trail starts from village of Chyamje. The trail is followed by beautiful rock cliffs and dense forests. Besides you will also witness cave,Kharkas and Gumbas .You could also witness scenic mountain views of Annapurna range and Manasalu range. Passing through Thonje where the checkpost lies you will finally reach Tiliche .Overnight stay at a local teahouse in Tiliche.

      Day 13Trek from Tiliche to Dharapani and drive to Beshisahar.

      On this day you will walk through Tiliche to Dharapani The route is very pleasing with different sceneries .Dharapani connects Annapurna Circuit Route with Manasalu Circuit Trek. After you reach Dharapani you will take some rest and have a jeep ride from Dharapani to Beshisahar .The trek is about an hour followed by the jeep ride of somewhere between 4 to 5 hours. Overnight stay in the local tea house in Besisahar.

      Day 14Drive back to Kathmandu. 6-7 hrs.

      Today you will drive back to Kathmandu which offers an opportunity to enjoy mountain and hill landscapes .You will also drive by some beautiful villages and some terrace farming .Once you reach Kathmandu, you will check in to your respective hotels. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

      Day 15Farewell friends

      This is your final day in Nepal, with final farewell to Nepal you will set off from Nepal to your home country Enjoy your last moments in Kathmandu, a city stroll, and/or souvenir shopping. According to a flight schedule, a representative will meet you at your hotel and drive you to the airport for your return flight home.
